Happy Thoughts

Sue Todd's 8 year old granddaughter wanted to wear what the boys are wearing for her First Communion.  The issue was resolved in binding arbitration that a dress would be worn but only if it was not going to be "poofy".  A lesson in the "art of making a deal!"

Brad Pierece was happy to announce that the stork is planning a visit to his daughter's house in 8 months or so.  Congrats to all.

Jon Morse was happy to be celebrating the end of tax season. Jon was also taking off on vacation, and checked out a Red Sox game on Saturday past.

Herb Goodick was happy to be the recipient of some club fellowship.  Herb called us a "wonderful gang".  You are a "wonderful guy," Herb..

Howard Frisch was also happy that tax season is over.  Howard is happy to be leaving for Florida this week.

Rudy Macchi was happy to be able to pay his tax bill and still be able to afford a vacation.  Rudy, your life is one vacation after another!  Rudy was also happy to present Mike Costello with two books, one "The South Beach Diet" and the second a book on "Rotary Wisdom".  Rudy suggested that Mike put the "Rotary Wisdom" book next to his bed, and to check it out when he has trouble sleeping.

Don Sudbay Jr. was happy the Cape Ann Bowling Center  had it first regional race-off .

Joe Parisi was happy about a Red Sox encounter.

Ruth Pino was happy to have attended a Boston "gala" for Wellspring that raised $500,000.

Ruth was also happy that she earned the laurel of being one of the top agents in her company.

Mike Linquata was happy to be back from wintering down south.

Joe Ciolino was happy to see Mike Costello lobby at the City Council.  Joe said Mike was at his best that night.

Fines

Acting President Joe Ciolino fined our resident CPA's to observe the end of tax seasons and for the planned vacations that seem to follow.

Rudy Macchi was fined for embarrassing Mike Costello with his book presentations.

Mike Linquata was fined for basking in the sun all winter while we all froze our butts off!

A pin fine was placed out of respect for President Greg.

Lunch Rating...   Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on teriyaki steak tips and apple cobbler for dessert.  The dinners at my table gave the food 3 stars.  When asked what would improve the meal the diners suggested a menu change.
